Angelina Pivarnick said she would welcome a pregnancy in her life right now after telling Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi that she was single and having unprotected sex with multiple men on the return of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’s final MTV season on May 7.

The episode, filmed in March 2025, ended with Pivarnick taking a pregnancy test in the bathroom at Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s daughter’s first birthday party, a scene that landed after a previous preview showed her holding up a positive test. The sequence gave the season an immediate hook, but it also pushed Pivarnick’s long-running personal story back into the center of the show at a moment when viewers were already expecting the series to wind down.

Pivarnick has said she always wanted to be a mother and wanted to start her own family because she does not have her own family, and she had already begun acting on that plan by purchasing donor sperm and entering the early consultation stages for in-vitro fertilization. That made the bathroom test more than a reality-show beat; it was tied to a real decision she had been making off camera.

The tension is that the show has teased a pregnancy, but Pivarnick has not publicly confirmed a child, did not appear pregnant in photos taken after the March 2025 episode was filmed, and gave no indication that she had already had a baby. By September 2025, she was posting Instagram Story photos that appeared to have been taken at a doctor’s office or fertility clinic, and she later confirmed in another Instagram post that she became pregnant at some point, without saying what happened to that pregnancy.

She also revealed that Vinny Tortorella was not the father of that baby, adding another layer to a relationship that has been on and off for years. Pivarnick and Tortorella got engaged in November 2022, she confirmed their breakup during the Season 7 Jersey Shore reunion in January 2025, and the two seemed to get back together in spring 2025 as Tortorella began posting photos and videos of her again in May 2025.

By December 2025, Pivarnick shared a photo dump with pictures of the pair in Salem, a reminder that even after the breakup, the relationship has kept resurfacing in public view. For now, the clearest answer is also the simplest one: Pivarnick opened a chapter about motherhood, pregnancy and family on television, but the show and her own posts still leave the outcome of that pregnancy unresolved.
