’s Dhurandhar and its sequel have broken multiple records, and the film’s next stop is now close. Reports said the starrer is expected to begin streaming on from May 15, 2026, after an eight-week theatrical run.

The sequel was released on March 19, 2026, one day after it made history with the biggest pre-opening on March 18, 2026. It has since grossed approximately Rs 1,365 crore in the domestic market and more than Rs 426 crore overseas, a haul that puts Dhurandhar 2 among the year’s biggest box-office stories.

Before the film’s release, the streaming rights for Dhurandhar: The Revenge were sold to JioHotstar for Rs. 150 crores, and reports now say the platform will carry the film without any official promotional push so far. That silence has stood out because the movie has already become one of the most talked-about releases of the year, both for its commercial numbers and for the chatter that followed its rollout.

The OTT version is also expected to bring something extra. Reports said the film will arrive with a raw and undekha version that adds another 3 minutes and includes some Raw & Undekha parts missing from the theatrical release. That detail matters because the movie’s paid preview generated fake posts on social media that were later proven to be AI-generated, adding another layer of noise around an already heavily watched release.

For now, there is still no official announcement from the streaming platform, even though reports point to May 15, 2026 as the likely start date. If that schedule holds, Dhurandhar 2 will move from its record-breaking theatrical run to a wider audience with a version that is slightly longer and more revealing than the one moviegoers saw in cinemas.
