Jessie James Decker says she is ready to downsize her 400plus cc breast implants, telling followers on Instagram Story on May 13 that she is trying to figure out when and where to have the surgery.

The 38-year-old singer and television personality said the larger implants, which she got in 2021, have started to feel more obvious and more annoying as she gets into better shape. She said they have been “a fun ride,” but added that she will never have small breasts and that the more toned she becomes, the more the implants stand out on her body.

Decker’s latest comments mark another turn in a surgery story she has talked about for years. Before choosing the larger implants in 2021, she had already undergone breast reduction and lift surgery after saying her breasts were hanging down to her belly button. At the time, she said she was not happy with the size and had decided to do it because she has such elastic skin.

In 2021, Decker said she was finally ready to “go big or go home,” and by 2023 she was already second-guessing the size if another child was in the picture. She said then that if she had known she would have another child, she would not have gone so big, and added that pregnancy makes her breasts “massive” and quadruple in size, leaving her certain she would need a reduction in the future.

The shift also fits with how Decker has described herself more recently. In March 2025, she told Us Weekly that as she has gotten older, she likes the way she looks now more than she did when she was 23, saying she prefers being toned, muscular and really strong.

That fitness-minded change is part of why the implants now bother her more. Decker said they become more noticeable as she gets more in shape, a problem that sits awkwardly beside a family life that has long been central to her public comments. She shares four children with husband Eric Decker: Vivianne Rose, Eric “Bubby” Thomas II, Forrest Bradley and Denver Calloway.

For now, the next step is practical rather than dramatic. Decker says she has made up her mind to have the implants reduced, but is still sorting out the timing and location of the surgery.
