The 49ers reached the Divisional Round last season and are expected to have Fred Warner and Nick Bosa back from injury for the game. Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey are set to face Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Davante Adams in a meeting that brings star power to the league’s first game on the continent.
The schedule also keeps the NFL’s international rhythm moving in familiar places. Brazil will host a game for a third straight year in 2026, with the Ravens and Cowboys set for Week 3. The two teams have played seven times before, and Baltimore holds a 6-1 record with a two-game winning streak against Dallas.
In the United Kingdom, Washington will open the league’s three-week stay, and Indianapolis will also be part of that stretch. The Commanders lost to the Miami Dolphins in Madrid a season ago, while the Colts beat the Falcons in Berlin, giving both clubs recent experience on the road in Europe. The league’s broader push now reaches further than ever, and the addition of Australia shows how far the international calendar has expanded in a single year.
