Minnesota United FC says its 2027-2028 season ticket renewal period opens June 23, giving fans their first look at pricing for a season that will be unlike the ones that came before it. The club said the 2027-2028 membership will cover both the 2027 Sprint Season and the 2027-2028 MLS season, and that all season ticket members will be automatically renewed unless they request a change.
The club said the new membership will include more games than usual because the 2027 Sprint Season will roll quickly into the 2027-2028 MLS season under a globally aligned competition calendar. The first of 16 interest-free monthly payments is scheduled to process on Aug. 1 using the credit card already on file. Members who want to add seats or opt out can do so through the form in the Offers tab, but only if the request is submitted before July 24 at noon CST.
For Minnesota supporters, the change lands at the same time the league begins a broader reset of its mls schedule. MLS will return in July 2027 after a brief summer break to start a full 34-game season on the new summer-to-spring calendar, with every club guaranteed to host every other team at least once every two seasons. Minnesota United said it will host rivalry matchups against Chicago Fire and FC Cincinnati, two dates that should help define the club’s place in the new format.
The pricing details are still to come, but the package itself already gives a sense of how the club wants to sell the transition. Season Ticket Members will receive a free Apple TV subscription, a 10% merchandise discount, an annual STM Gift, a dedicated account representative and access to STM Events & Exclusives that include special member events, on-field opportunities, a $500 Suite Credit and a 10% discount on single-game MNUFC tickets.
That mix of expanded access and new scheduling certainty is the practical answer to the league’s calendar overhaul.
